A student died from injuries in a crash that happened hours after he was dropped off by his parents at university.
Harry Webb, 27, had started a masters at the London College of Contemporary Music last year.
The day after the crash was due to be Harry’s first day of his second year.
His family say he was “a kind, warm, generous and loving person”.
They say the student, who already had a maths and philosophy degree from Bristol University and a masters in philosophy from Amsterdam University, had a “great future in front of him”.
Harry, who had a “lifelong love of music”, was the only child of Pat and Mike Webb.
They said the close-knit community of Crickhowell in Powys had “keenly felt” his loss.
Harry had just moved into a house he was sharing with friends in Hackney.
Within a couple of hours of returning home to Powys, Harry’s parents received an emergency call.
A Met Police spokesperson said officers were called at about 7.40pm on Sunday, 10 September, to reports of a cyclist injured in a collision.
He died of his injuries in hospital two days later.
The force continues to appeal for information which could assist its investigation.
A 24-year-old woman who was driving the car was arrested and released on bail, pending further enquiries.

The Hackney Cycling Campaign organised a protest ride on Wednesday after the deaths of Harry and 36-year-old Gao Gao on Whiston Road last month.
Garmon ap Garth, coordinator of the Hackney Cycling Campaign, said recent deaths “highlight that more action is required to make Hackney’s streets safer”.
