The bodies of a man and a woman have been found at a property on a village high street in South Wales, police have said.
The deaths of the two adults are being treated as “unexplained”, South Wales Police said on Monday.
The bodies of the pair were discovered at an address on Hirwaun High Street, 27 miles (43km) northwest of Cardiff, at about 5.45pm on Friday, a force spokeswoman said.
Police have put up a cordon at the scene and additional officers are in the area, she added.
“Next of kin have been informed. Local residents are thanked for their patience while officers carry out their investigations,” the spokeswoman said.
