BBC presenter scandal: Young person’s parents and lawyer at odds

Entertainment

On an extra Sky News Daily, Kimberley Leonard discusses the latest developments in claims that a BBC presenter paid a teenager thousands of pounds for explicit photos.

A lawyer acting for the young person said the original story in The Sun was “totally wrong” and allegations made by their mother were “rubbish”.

But The Sun quoted the individual’s mother and stepfather as saying “we stand by our account”.

Kimberley is joined by media lawyer Matthew Gill.
