Police still investigating disappearance of woman who hasn’t been seen for months

Police searching for a missing woman have issued a renewed appeal, more than three months since she was last seen.

Charlene Hobbs, 35, from the Riverside area of Cardiff, was last seen on 19 July at Cardiff Bay Retail Park at around 10.30am.

South Wales Police say Ms Hobbs also has connections to the Bristol area.

Detectives are looking for any information on her whereabouts since she was last seen.

A 45-year-old man from the Adamsdown area of the Welsh capital was arrested in connection with the investigation but has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Davies from South Wales Police said the force was “continuing to seek information from the public concerning Charlene’s whereabouts”.

“We are keeping an open mind as to Charlene’s movements but we remain very concerned for her wellbeing,” he added.

“Any information, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, could help us to find her so please contact us.

“I am also appealing directly to Charlene to contact us to let us know that you are safe.”
