Police are appealing for information after a sheep was shot with an arrow in South Wales.
The animal was discovered with the arrow in its chest on a mountain road at around 11am on Sunday, between Markham in Caerphilly county and Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent.
The injured sheep is now recovering after the arrow was removed from its body, police said.
Officers believe the incident happened sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
