Real Madrid have agreed to sign England footballer Jude Bellingham for an initial fee of £88.5m.

The 19-year-old’s move was announced by German club Borussia Dortmund, who Bellingham joined in 2020 from Birmingham City.

He is to sign a six-year contract and a medical is to be completed in the coming days.

A statement from the Bundesliga club includes that additional performance-related fees will be paid in the deal, which if achieved, could reach £115m.
