The 19-year-old’s move was announced by German club Borussia Dortmund, who Bellingham joined in 2020 from Birmingham City.

He is to sign a six-year contract and a medical is to be completed in the coming days.

A statement from the Bundesliga club includes that additional performance-related fees will be paid in the deal, which if achieved, could reach £115m.

Since joining Dortmund, the midfielder has featured 132 times for the club scoring 24 goals and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season for the 2022/23 campaign.

The teenager also has 24 England appearances under his belt and headed his first international goal against Iran in the 2022 World Cup.
